The Citizens' Rights Committee, which is leading the debate within the European Parliament on the new data protection for telecommunications directive, narrowly backed a measure that will allow spamming in the European Union (EU). Of course, if I was to attempt to incite everyone who reads this to forward all their spam to their MEP, they'd find a way to rap my knuckles PDQ. It's still tempting, though....
